Step 1: Pick Your Chassis:
Most of our newly built horseboxes are constructed using pre-owned chassis, selected through our 33 years of automotive experience. We carefully assess each chassis, conducting a thorough HPI Check, verifying mileage, and subjecting the vehicles to a 100-mile test drive. Our comprehensive workshop inspections cover tyres, brakes, and computer diagnostics scan to address any pre-existing faults. Only after passing our rigorous preparation process does the vehicle proceed to our factory for customization.

Which Vehicles Do We Use?
We employ the reliable Renault Master platform, also used by Vauxhall Movano and Nissan NV400, as well as the Peugeot Boxer platform shared by Citroen Relay and Fiat Ducato. These vehicles boast a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of 3.5 tonnes, allowing them to be driven with a B category car licence. Payloads range from 1000 kg to 1750 kg (with a Category C1 licence), providing flexibility for transporting one large horse or two smaller ones.
